WebRTC Spoofing Options

WebRTC can expose your real IP address, even when using a proxy. Kameleo allows you to control how WebRTC behaves in your Browser Profiles to prevent detection by WebRTC-based IP leaks. To change the setting simply:

  1. Clicking on the "Advanced Settings" option which you can find during the profile creation or profile editing phase as outlined below:

  2. Under the Location section, you will see "WebRTC, Timezone and Geolocation based on your external IP" click on "Manual".

  3. Now if you want to input your desired WebRTC public IP address yourself, simply click on "Manual" button under WebRTC, and type a valid IP address.
  4. Proceed by clicking the Save button.

WebRTC Spoofing Options

  • Automatic (Recommended): Kameleo automatically sets WebRTC IP values based on your proxy. This ensures consistency and prevents IP leaks.
  • Manual: Allows you to provide custom WebRTC IP values. This should only be used if you know exactly what WebRTC IPs the profile should expose.
  • Block: Disables WebRTC entirely. This avoids leaks but can appear suspicious, as most users do not block WebRTC.

  • Off: Disables spoofing. Your real IP may leak through WebRTC, depending on your system and network configuration.

You can watch a short video explaining WebRTC and how Kameleo handles it:

You can set default WebRTC spoofing options for all new profiles in the Settings from the left menu.
