Canvas Spoofing Options

Kameleo allows you to control how HTML Canvas behaves in your Browser Profiles to prevent detection by Canvas fingerprinting.

For a deeper explanation of how Canvas fingerprinting works, refer to our article about HTML Canvas or Intelligent Canvas Spoofing.

To change the setting simply:

  1. Click on the "Advanced Settings" option which you can find during the profile creation or profile editing phase as outlined below:

  2. Under the "Device" section, you will find "Canvas" the sub-section.

Canvas Spoofing Options

  • Intelligent (Recommended): Modifies the canvas to produce a non-unique, but altered, image hash. Balances privacy and realism.
  • Noise: Randomly modifies the canvas rendering, creating a unique image and hash for each virtual browser profile.
  • Block: Completely disables canvas functionality. No images are drawn, preventing fingerprinting, but this can appear suspicious.
  • Off: Kameleo does not alter the canvas. Websites will see the real canvas values from your computer.
