Import & Export Profiles
Kameleo profiles contain all browser fingerprint configurations and related browsing data such as cookies, passwords, browsing history, extensions, bookmarks, and more. If you are not using Cloud Profiles, you can export profiles to .kameleo files and share them with team members, allowing them to continue work exactly where you left off.
Exported .kameleo files are typically around 10 MB in size (This can vary widely, depending on the amount of stored data)
Why export profiles?
Exporting profiles is useful for:
- Backup - Create backups of important profiles
- Sharing - Transfer profiles to team members
- Migration - Move profiles between computers
If you're working alone on the same PC, you don't need to export profiles. They're automatically stored in Kameleo's workspace folder.
Exporting profiles
Export single profile
- Click the three dots next to a profile.
Select "Export" from the menu.

Choose where to save the .kameleo file

The default file name is derived from the profile's name.
Export multiple profiles
- Select multiple profiles using the checkboxes
Click the Export button at the top

Choose where to save the .kameleo files

At the end of this export process, you will see a notification like this one:

Importing profiles
Import from file browser
Click the Import button on the dashboard

- Select one or more .kameleo files from the file browser
Click Open to import the profiles

Instead of using the import function, you can also drag and drop .kameleo files directly onto the Kameleo dashboard to import them. You can import multiple profiles at once using either method.
What gets Exported?
When you export a profile, the .kameleo file includes:
- All fingerprint settings
- Cookies
- Passwords
- Browsing history
- Bookmarks
- Installed extensions
- Profile name, tags, and notes
If you don't have a backup of your profiles (either as .kameleo files or a backup of your workspace folder), there is no way to recover deleted profiles.
