Built-in Proxy Manager
You can set up Kameleo to use a proxy for your browser profiles. The Built-In Proxy Manager supports the following proxy types:
- HTTP / HTTPS
- SOCKS5
- SSH
DNS resolution is also handled by the proxy.
Kameleo does not presently support UDP-based proxies.
Direct connection (No proxy)
By default, Kameleo connects without a proxy and uses your device’s IP Address.

HTTP, SOCKS5, and SSH Proxies
These three proxy types are configured in the same area. Enter the Host, Port, and optional Username/Password depending on your setup.

Proxy Test Tool
Our proxy test tool allows you to quickly check your proxy setup without launching the profile itself. The tool attempts to establish a connection through your proxy using several well-known websites: Google, Archive.org, and Wikipedia. If one of these sites is unavailable, the tool automatically tries the next one. If a successful connection is made to any of these websites, you can be confident that your proxy is working properly.
To utilize the Proxy Test tool, simply click on the "Test Proxy" button as showed below:

Important: Some proxy providers block certain websites, or only allow access to a limited list of approved domains. Before testing, ensure that your provider permits access to the websites listed above; otherwise, the test may fail even if your proxy is technically operational.
