Cloud Stored Profiles

Kameleo’s Cloud Storage lets teams collaborate more efficiently by storing browser profiles in the cloud. We still offer unlimited local stored profies, so you may choose between working locally or using cloud profiles for easier teamwork and access across devices.

This is done during the profile creation, where you will be able to choose which type of profile you want created, as depicted below:

If you for example prefer only Cloud Profiles, you can set them as default in the Settings, under the "Default Profile Settings", and all subsequent profiles that are created will be Cloud based.

How to move Local ↔ Cloud Profiles

Sometimes you want to move a Cloud-stored Profile to the Local Profile Storage, or vice versa, that can be achieved by:

  1. Clicking on the three dots, to the right side of the profile, and clicking on the "Move" option.

  2. You will be presented with a new window, where you should select either "Move to Local" or "Move to Cloud" depending which type the profile was originally.
  3. After selecting the type from the dropdown menu, click the "Move" button.

  4. This would successfully move the profile to the selected type.

When to Use Cloud Profiles

Cloud profiles are ideal if:

  • Multiple team members need access to the same profile
  • You want to use profiles on multiple devices

Session Lock

Only one device can use a cloud profile at a time. This prevents conflicts, protects cookies, cache, and other profile data, and ensures consistent behavior across sessions.

Syncing Across Devices

Cloud profiles automatically synchronize cookies, session data, and other information:

  • Use a cloud profile on PC A → data is saved in the cloud
  • Open the same profile on PC B → data is preserved exactly as it was on PC A

Notes:

  • Only cloud profiles sync automatically; local profiles stay on the device they were created on
  • You can still import/export profiles manually if needed
  • No device limits, run Kameleo on as many devices as you like
