How does Page Start work?
The Page Start setting in Kameleo allows you to control what is displayed the moment a browser profile is launched. You can find this setting under the Browser tab when creating or editing a profile.
Browser Start Page Settings
Leaving the field empty If you leave the Start Page field empty, Kameleo will continue where you left off, meaning it will reopen the last page you were visiting when the profile was previously closed. This is useful if you want seamless, continuous sessions without having to navigate back to where you were.
Example: You were browsing Facebook when you closed your profile. The next time you launch it, Kameleo automatically reopens Facebook right where you left off.
New Tab
Entering about:newtab opens a blank new tab page on every launch, giving you a clean starting point regardless of what you were doing in your last session. This is the recommended option if you want a consistent, neutral starting environment each time.
Example: You manage multiple accounts across different profiles. Setting about:newtab ensures every profile always opens fresh without any leftover context from your previous session.
Custom URL
You can enter any valid website URL to have the browser navigate directly to that page on launch. This is ideal for workflows that always begin on a specific platform or for automation scripts that need a defined entry point.
Example: You set https://sellercentral.amazon.com as your start page so that every time you open your Amazon seller profile, you land directly on the Seller Central login page without any extra navigation.
Tips for choosing the right setting
