Can't Save & Start Profile

If you're experiencing delays when clicking the Save button or when starting a profile, this is typically due to one of these reasons:

Network Connection Delay When you click "Save", Kameleo needs to sync your profile data to the cloud (for cloud profiles). If your internet connection is slow or unstable, there may be a delay of several seconds before the save completes.

What to do:

  • Wait 5-10 seconds after clicking Save
  • Check your internet connection stability
  • If using a VPN, try temporarily disabling it
  • For frequently edited profiles, consider using local profiles instead of cloud profiles

Profile Stuck in "Starting" Phase

If your profile remains in the "Starting" phase for up to a minute, this is usually normal and happens for two reasons:

1. Browser Kernel Download The first time you launch a profile with a specific browser version, Kameleo needs to download that browser kernel in the background. This can take 30-60 seconds depending on your internet speed.

What to do:

  • Be patient on the first launch of each kernel version
  • Subsequent launches will be much faster
  • Check your internet connection

2. Network Latency Slow or unstable internet can delay profile startup as Kameleo loads settings and fingerprints.

What to do:

  • Wait up to 60 seconds
  • Check your internet connection
  • If it happens consistently, contact support

Profile Won't Save at All

If the Save button is permanently disabled or nothing happens when you click it:

  1. Check if all required fields are filled - Some settings require complete information
  2. Try refreshing the application - Close and reopen Kameleo

  1. What you were trying to save/start
  2. How long you waited
  3. Your internet connection speed https://www.speedtest.net/
  4. Any error messages you may see (If any also provide GUI/CLI log files)
