Installation has failed

If you see the following issue during the installation of Kameleo v2 you need to reinstall Kameleo v2. Most likely the issue was caused because the installer was started twice.

Installation has failed
There was an error while installing the application. Check the Setup log for more information and contact the author.

If you see this error message that is also a good sign that the installation process had some glitches, so please reinstall Kameleo.

Unistall Kameleo v2

Go to Control Panel > Uninstall a program

Right Click on Kameleo and select Uninstall

To make sure everything is uninstalled, please delete the following folder:

C:\Users\<YOUR_USER>\AppData\Local\Kameleo

Reinstall Kameleo v2

  1. Please download the latest installer from our downloads page.
  2. Make sure you just launch the installer only once.
  3. Installation should be completed and Login Screen should appear.
