Direct connection / No proxy
By default, Kameleo will connect without any Proxy. Your IP won’t be handled by Kameleo. Basically, it will be your PC’s IP.
If you are using a VPN you can change your IP. In this case, inside Kameleo you can select a Direct connection.
If you are using Proxifier you will also have to select Direct here.
Socks4A
If you select Socks4A, you can connect to any Socks4A proxy.
In this case, you can select the Proxy's IP and the Port. Authentication (username, password) is not supported in this protocol.
Nowadays SOCKS4A proxies are not so popular.
Socks5
If you select Socks5, you can connect to any Socks5 proxy. This is the most common use case.
In this case, you can select the IP, Port and optionally Username and Password. Leave them blank if they are not required. With Socks5 you can also change DNS resolution settings. Read in our article.
Http
If you select Http, you can connect to any Http or Https proxy.
In this case, you can select the IP, Port and optionally Username and Password. Leave them blank if they are not required.
