Built-in Proxy Manager – Use HTTP, SOCKS5 or SSH proxies with browsers

  • Created

If you want full privacy for browsing the Internet, you must use a proxy.

With this function, you can set up Kameleo easily to connect to the web thru proxies. IP, port, username, and password can be set inside Kameleo app as you can connect to different types of proxies:

  • SOCKS5
  • HTTP / HTTPS
  • SSH

The started browser will use the built-in proxy manager’s proxy.

Kameleo has also a Test Proxy function, where you can fast-check if the set proxy is connected.

You can check our video to see how easy it is:

This video explains how a proxy works and how can you integrate it into Kamelo

Direct connection / No proxy

By default, Kameleo will connect without any Proxy. Your IP won’t be handled by Kameleo. Basically, it will be your PC’s IP.
