Screen Resolution

A lot of user data can be obtained using common Javascript functionality. DOM Window Object discloses much of sensitive information about your computer's screen:

  • Screen size (width and height)
  • Window size (width and height)
  • Window position (top and left)
  • Color Depth

Kameleo spoofs everything for you. The screen size is derived from the Base Profile.

You can override it but it is not really recommended. Otherwise, you can set up weird configurations like a mobile user-agent with a screen size of 4K.

NOTE: If you are selecting a small screen size like 800x600 but your real PC has a screen of 1920x1080, make sure that you are not browsing with a full screen-sized window. Otherwise, the website will show some data that is impossible.
