Cloud storage FAQ

What is the Cloud storage feature?

Cloud storage brings collaboration and flexibility. We heard feedback that while our software is great, team collaboration could be simpler. That’s why we introduced cloud-stored profiles and groups—to make teamwork seamless.
And don’t worry; the unlimited local profiles you love aren’t going anywhere. Now, you can choose between local storage or enhanced collaboration in the cloud.

When should you use cloud profiles?

There’s a growing demand for better collaboration. Cloud profiles are better for teams where multiple agents work on the same profiles or if you want to access your profiles from multiple devices.

Why is it experimental?

We want to deliver the best experience and launch cloud storage as an experimental feature. We welcome your feedback on our Discord community!

Do I still have unlimited local profiles?

Yes! Local profiles remain a core feature in Kameleo. You’ll still get unlimited local profiles with every paid plan. If you prefer, set your default profile creation to local.

Who’s eligible for Cloud storage?

Basic and Advanced users with an active subscription get 20 cloud-stored profiles.

Can I get more cloud-stored profiles?

You can buy more profiles starting in January. If you need additional storage now, contact support and explain your use case.

What are syncing and locked statuses?

Syncing means that the updated profile is being sent or retrieved from the cloud. This is to ensure that you have the freshest version of that profile.

Locked means that the profile is currently running on another device.

Can two agents run the same profile simultaneously?

No, one profile can be accessed from one device at a time. This is how we can ensure the integrity of the profile data (like cookies, history, cache, etc.) and prevent account bans.
